Books (Nearly) Ready For Print

We're putting the finishing touches on our Battlelords for Savage Worlds books!  As soon as the covers -the only thing left to do- are finished for the books, we will be sending them to the printers! 

Pre-Press PDFs

We will be uploading the pre-press versions of the Carnage Companion and the Alliance Setting Guide soon. 

Playing Cards & Poker Chips

Once the books are off to press, which is our primary goal, we'll be finishing up the Savage Battlelords playing cards and poker chips and getting those manufactured. 

GEN CON INDY 2023

We just submitted 24 Battlelords events for the Gen Con gaming convention in Indianapolis, Indiana Indy, including 4 Savage Battlelords events!  We will also be exhibitors at the con. If you're going to be there, be sure to stop by and say, "Hi!"   www.gencon.com

Pre-Press Digital Copies Soon

We're putting the finishing touches on our Battlelords for Savage Worlds books!  At this point we're just looking for errors and and typos. See what I did there? The interior contents of all three books are finalized - assuming we don't find any issues/errors at this point.  We are focusing on the getting the final versions of the front and back covers completed.  We will be releasing pre-press versions of all three books in PDF format to our backers soon.  

Please Let Us Know If You Find Any Errors

Once the pre-press versions of the PDF are released, please let us know if you find any errors or typos. Once the book goes to print errors will be impossible to correct after that.  You can report errors on our Discord (https://discord.gg/ShmBM5tjvc), which is the preferred method, or via email at [email protected] if you don't have discord.  If the above Discord link is no longer valid when you try it, please email us for a fresh link. Alliance Setting Guide NOW AVAILABLE!

Updated PDFs Available 

We have just posted new versions of the Savage Battlelords books to BackerKit, including the never-before-seen Alliance Setting Guide!  If you're a backer you can download your copy now!  Check your email from a message from BackerKit or you can use the Digital Downloads link you used to get prior versions of the Savage Battlelords PDFs. 

We are treating this version of the Alliance Setting Guide like a playtest document, so if you feel something needs changed/tweaked/adjusted please let us know in the savage-battlelords-playtesting thread of our discord. If you don't have discord, you can also email us at [email protected]. We are still in editing the Alliance Setting Guide. If you find any typos/errors, please let us know. 

Changes to Books

Changes to the Core Rules:

• Typos have been fixed (Please report any Typos/Errors). 
• We have added a Huge Blast Template
• We have added Wound Chart at the back of the book.
• Optional Armor rules have been added at the beginning of the armor chapter for players who want more streamlined armor rules.
• The Laser rules have been adjusted to make the weapons more dangerous against Body Armor.
• The Aggression Hindrance has been changed for clarity.

Changes to the Carnage Companion:

• Typos have been fixed, we are still editing the book (Please report any Typos/Errors).
• The Impact Laser rules have been adjusted to make the weapons more dangerous against Body Armor and Heavy Body Armor
• The way armor is shown in pre-gen PCs and NPCs has been modified for ease of use and clarity.

Price Increase for Classic Battlelords (for non-backers)

We are going to be increasing the price of our Classic Battlelords books, including the newest book, Fully Armored: The Battlelords Gear Manual.  If you haven't grabbed these books on our Kickstarters and you want them, we suggest grabbing them now before the price increases.  If you have already grabbed these books in our Kickstarters, you will NOT be affected by the price changes.

STATUS UPDATE

While we may have been quiet for the past few months, we have been hard at work on the Savage Battlelords books. Our editors have been going through the Carnage Companion and the Setting Guide. We’ve been making corrections to all the books as errors are reported, and we’ve been implementing some changes based on feedback from our playtesters who have been posting on our discord. We hope to release the Alliance Setting Guide to our backers soon. We’d like to give our editors more time to get through it, than we gave for the Carnage Companion, so our playtesters/backers can focus on game balance rather than spotting typos.  When we release the Alliance Setting Guide, we will also release updated versions of the Core Rules and the Carnage Companion for our backers.

Please post any errors, typos, questions, comments, or suggestions you have on our discord, so we can get the books as polished as possible before printing. We can’t do it without your help! Thanks for your support!

SAVAGE WORLDS PLAYING CARDS

While we’ve been working on the text our art director and artists have been working on the Battlelords playing cards. The artwork is done, the backgrounds are in place, and we’re just finalizing the “frames” on the cards that indicate suit and face value. We’ve posted some images below.
