Carnage Companion Available!
The beta version of the Savage Battlelords Carnage Companion is available.
The cover art will change. The book is still in editing. There are likely typos. If you see any typos or grammatical errors, PLEASE report them on our discord at in the sbl-typos thread. The more eyes we get on the book, the more likely we are to spot all the typos.
We are treating this version of the document like a playtest document, so if you feel something needs changed/tweaked/adjusted rules-wise, please let us know in the sbl-playtesting thread of our discord. If you don't have discord, you can also email us at [email protected]

Core Rules Available
The core rules for Savage Battlelords (SBL) are available to our backers. You should have received an email from backerkit.com with a link to your digital downloads. Each link is specific to your pledge, so we are unable to post a generic link to the digital downloads here. If you didn’t receive your email, please check your spam folder and inbox for an email from backerkit.com. If you didn’t receive your email, you can contact us at [email protected]
Feedback – Your input is important!
In addition to helping us spot typos, we need your help in finetuning the system. Is the game fast/fun/furious? What can we do to improve it? Right now, we’re particularly interested in determining the following:
Is armor Absorption (aka Armor Wounds) too high? Does it slow combat or do the weapons cause enough damage that it’s not an issue?
Are weapons and armor appropriately priced?
Do the Aggression & Combat Stress table rules get triggered too infrequently?
Are rolls on the weapon malfunction table triggered too often?
Release date for the next two books
We want to make sure we get the core rules finetuned before we release the next two books, as any changes to the core rules will likely affect the Carnage Companion (CC) and the Alliance Setting Guide (ASG). As of yet, we do not have a fixed release date for the CC or ASG.

BACKERKIT SURVEYS OUT
Check your email for email from BackerKit.com. It will have a link to complete a short survey. While you're on BackerKit you will also confirm your mailing address so it can collect shipping. In addition, you have the option to upgrade your pledge to select additional Add-Ons.
Note: If your shipping comes back at $1,000,000 (or some other outrageous amount) that means:
you haven't selected a shipping destination, or
you've selected a country we don't have shipping rates for yet (There are a lot of countries!), or
you have exceeded the weights the system calculates (Thank you for your huge order!).
Not to worry. Just send us an email at [email protected] and let us know, and we'll get it all sorted out!
GEN CON 2022
For the next week we're going to busy prepping for and attending to Gen Con in our hometown of Indianapolis. Our responses to any contact may be a bit slow this week. If you're at Gen Conl, sign up for some Battlelords games and/or stop by our booth and say, "Hi!"

(Some) Digital Files Available Now!

DOWNLOADS AVAILABLE
If you've finished your survey at BackerKit you should receive an email from BackerKit in the next 24 hours with a link to your digital downloads. All of the Classic Battlelords PDFs are available for download. In addition, the Savage Battlelords Core Rules PDF is also available for download. We suggest that you save this link as you will use it every time new digital downloads are available. BackerKit will send you a new email when a new email is available, but sometimes it's easier if you just use the link you already have - backerkit emails tend to get grabbed by SPAM filters, so check your SPAM folder.
Savage Battlelords V1
The version of Savage Battlelords that is currently available is the beta version of the core rules. The cover art will change slightly, and some duplicate artwork in the interior will also be replaced. We will also add the back cover. We need you help polishing the book before it goes to print. We are treating this version of the document like a playtest document.
If you feel something needs changed/tweaked/adjusted please let us know in the savage-battlelords-playtesting thread of our discord.

If you purchased add-on items through Kickstarter, you will confirm these on BackerKit. Feel free to add extra items from the Add-Ons page while you're on BackerKit!

We will be adding Pre-Order link to the top of our Kickstarter campaign page as soon as we determine that BackerKit is working correctly. Those of you who missed the campaign can order the books there, though Kickstarter campaign exclusives and stretch goals will not be listed/included.
